Practice
Present Forms is a New York-based design studio led by Stephanie Lin, a Canadian designer and educator. Our work combines artistic and architectural modes of thinking, ranging in scale from environments to objects. As a practice we explore the use of ephemeral materialities to uncover embedded cultural narratives and hidden orders.

Present Forms' work has been exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art (New York, NY), Storefront for Art and Architecture (New York, NY), The National Academy of Design (New York, NY) The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts (New York, NY), A+D Architecture and Design Museum (Los Angeles, CA), cneai= (Paris, France), and several universities.

Present Forms is a member of Office III, a design collective co-founded with Sean Canty and Ryan Golenberg, and based across New York, Boston and San Francisco. In 2017 the three were finalists in the MoMA PS1 Young Architects Program and completed the Governors Island Welcome Center in New York, NY that same year.
